V. Vijay Kumar Raju, from Visakhapatnam, India, is a visionary leader known for his dynamic imagination and unwavering commitment to excellence. PID Raju has empowered countless Leos and Lions through experiential learning, technological innovation, and values-based leadership.

Renowned for his impactful and positive leadership, he brings together knowledge, experience, vision, and compassion to inspire meaningful change. His enduring dream is to see Lions Clubs International recognized as the world’s foremost non-political service organization.

Leadership Journey

A proud member of the Visakhapatnam Samarasya Lions Club since 1996, Trustee Raju has held numerous key positions, including Club President, Zone Chairperson, and District Governor, consistently setting benchmarks in leadership and service.

He served as International Director of Lions Clubs International from 2016 to 2018, and as a Trustee of the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) from 2018 to 2024. During his tenure, Trustee Raju held the role of Secretary of LCIF in 2018–19 and again in 2023–24. In 2023–24, he also contributed to the global leadership team as a Board Appointee to the Lions International Board. Additionally, he has served as the Constitutional Area Leader of LCIF for CA VI from 2019 to 2025.

Current Roles & Endorsement

He has been endorsed for the office of the Third International Vice President by the Multiple District 316 and is awaiting clearance from the International Leadership. He is currently serving as the Treasurer of the Lions Council of India, Lions India Service Trust.

A certified International Trainer, he served as Group Leader for the District Governor-Elect (DGE) Seminars of Lions Clubs International in 2019–2020 and 2021–2022, mentoring future leaders of the organization.

Philanthropy

As a Humanitarian Partner of LCIF and a Progressive Lead Gift Donor, Trustee Raju has pledged USD 300,000 (approx. INR 2.80 Crores) and has already contributed over USD 200,000.

He is also a Life Member and a proud Second Century Ambassador of the Association, leaving a lasting impact on global Lionism.

Personal Life

His partner in service, Lion Sudha, is a Melvin Jones Fellow. They are blessed with a daughter, Mrs. Kinnera, who is married to Mr. Kiran. The family is further enriched by their two grandsons, Master Dhruva and Master Dheera.
